Perhaps they are even shooting to make that show a national one. One of the church-owned stations here in DC also plays that KSL late-night talk show (which was a little weird when I first heard it).

Hopefully, it’s a play to give insomniacs an alternative to the predominant UFO/crop-circle talk radio.

It’s interesting and might be true. What’s weird is because of their strong late night AM power a lot of people were used to listening to KSL for news. I notice KSL is spending a fair bit of money for their own late night talk radio show. They even hired someone from Entertainment Tonight to run it. So I think there’s a big market for KSL in the intermountain west even by non-Mormons.
