LDS Church to announce President Gordon B. Hinckley successor Monday
The new president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is to be announced at 11 a.m. on Monday, according to a news advisory from the Church Public Affairs Department. The successor to the late President Gordon B. Hinckley will be announced in the lobby of the Church Office Building, 50 E. North Temple.

A new member of the Twelve may not have been called yet. But if one has, I’m sure they’ll announce it also.

it looks like the new Apostle called when President Hinckley became President was Elder Eyring (!) and that he wasn’t sustained until the April General Conference. I believe the First Presidency was reorganized that March so they may well wait until GC. Or they may not.
