Of all the standard works, the Bible remains the best source for an intimate understanding of the character and personality of Jesus Christ during His mortal mission. While the Old Testament offers a prophetic foretelling of that mission, the New Testament provides an unmatched account of the events, experiences, teachings and personal interactions of Christ. The Book of Mormon strengthens and reinforces His teachings through additional witnesses and provides moving accounts of the personal experiences many individuals had with Him. According to Elder Ballard, “The Book of Mormon does not dilute nor diminish nor de-emphasize the Bible. On the contrary, it expands, extends, and exalts it.”

Only as far as it’s translated correctly… And we all know that the Catholics got hold of all the manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments and changed them all in order to deceive us! They even went back in time and changed the dead sea scrolls and they changed the documents kept by the Eastern Orthodox Churches!
Those Catholics are powerful!

That’s true “as far as it’s translated correctly”. You can’t dispute the Bible changed hands and underwent many different translations. Even the LDS Church leaders and scholars revert back to the greek of old to clarify meaning and gain a greater understanding. It is naive to think that after hundreds of years of copies and rewrites that the Bible, which is a compilation of writings, did not get altered in it’s words and original meanings.
