Latter-day Saints for Ron Paul
Are you LDS? Do you love the Constitution? Do you wish there was a true statesman in the tradition of the Founding Fathers at the head of this country? Then you’ll love Ron Paul.

Is this an endorsement? :)

Heck no! Just interesting. While I think he’s got some good views that hearken back to when the original Constitution meant something, he’s not for me.

He and many of his followers seem fairly kooky.

I just need to update all the new blogs I keep finding. It was a good place to start.

You kinda worried me for a second … good to see a post …

Ron Paul is the most conservative of the Republican candidates in the running. His platform coincides with the core beliefs of the conservative movement, going back to Goldwater. There are some kooks with libertarian viewpoints, much akin to other political persuasions. Paul does have the distinction of serving as not only a Republican rep,but also as a Libertarian congressman as well. His track record speaks for itself. The man is also not afraid to remove the public relations shell,so that voters can recieve honest answers. The religious right may or may not throw their support behind him, unless he proves to be a strong front-runner. I live here in the buckle of the bible belt(Memphis,TN) and the idea of an LDS candidate becoming President doen’t sit to well with Evangelicals here. Just take a look at the Southern Baptist Convention’s website and look up their official stance on “Mormonism”.Not very chummy towards us. I hope that the media will give Paul a wider reach to Americans.I feel that journalists ,such as Lou Dobbs, can bring his campaign some much needed attention.
