This one seems way out in left field but a blog claims that BYU-I President Kim Clark is looking into the ramifications if the school dropped federal aid. While I think that could be an admirable move in many ways to shake up academic welfare, I can’t believe that would ever happen.


Mitt Romney is expected to submit paperwork for his 2008 presidential campaign tomorrow.
“While the committee filing will be labeled “exploratory,” it will declare Romney as an official presidential candidate and commit him to the same fundraising and reporting rules he will have to follow when, as is expected, he transitions to a formal presidential campaign committee.” It has been reported elswhere that a formal anouncement may come on January 8 but this article mentions it will be a fundraiser. Perhaps both.
