Non-mormon blogger calls upon the Church to excommunicate Senator Reid for opposing the FMA.

Wow, that’s a sweeping generalization if I’ve ever read one.
I don’t know that I agree that the fact that Senator Reid opposes the ammendment means that he’s not supporting the church. In fact, didn’t the letter that the presidency sent to be read over the pulpit simply state that we need to invovle ourselves in this issue? They didn’t say what stance we should take, specifically. Thus, Senator Reid is doing exactly what the church has asked its members to do.
