LDS Businessman Eric Roach is one of 16 Republicans vying for the GOP nomination to replace former U.S. Representative Randall Cunningham. Cunnigham was the Republican congressman who resigned last November after pleading guilty to charges involivng bribery and fraud. I can’t find a web site yet for Mr. Roach.

It should require more than one’s mebership in a church to earn any vote for any office. You need to be aware of the community to be a viable candidate. Roach is not that person. Morrow, Bilbray, Uke, Earnest, past muster in that area and any of them would do a fine job.

I happen to like Mr. Roach. I met him at Von’s in Clairemont. I have not been that impressed with any of the other candidates particularly.
